Cognitive Development and Education Research Group
The mission of the research group is to offer evidence-based programs for the educational practice. Our main areas of interest include the evaluation of programs and activities aiming to support self-regulation and executive function skills, and cognitive and social-emotional development in general, in addition to adaptation in school. Based on our meta-analystic results, the research group started a line of research focusing on mindfulness-based interventions and children's executive function skills and stress management. In addition to educational sciences, biology and psychology play important roles in our interdisciplinary research group.
