Final exam
Conditions to sit for the final exam
- you have completed all your courses
- obtained a final pre-degree certificate (absolutorium) - after obtaining the absolutorium, you have five years to take the final exam
- submitted your portfolio (BA) / submitted your thesis (MA)
- do not owe any outstanding debts to the university
- signed up for the final exam

via Neptun (Administration > Requests > Available request forms.)
Deadline
- 20th October if you would like to take the final exam in the autumn semester
- 20th March if you would like to take the final exam in the spring semester
Content
- an oral presentation of the research part of your thesis, i.e. a defence (ppt or prezi is recommended) including reflexion (questions of the committee), self-reflection, evaluation (15 minutes long)
- a topic elaboration: a reply to / discussion of one of the questions asked by the reviewers of the research part of the thesis chosen by the Final Exam Committee (5 minutes long)
- an oral presentation of the applied part of your thesis, i.e. a defence (ppt or prezi can be used) including reflexion (questions of the committee), self-reflection, evaluation (5-6 minutes long)
- evaluation and results (5 minutes long)
Evaluation
- defence of the research part (Defence grade 1)
- defence of the applied part (Defence grade 2)
- topic elaboration (Final Exam grade)

- mid-end of June in the Spring semester
- mid-end of January in the Autumn semester
