Psychology BA Programme:

The aim of the programme is to train professionals, who are perfect in the theoretical foundations and basic methods of psychology, have an insight into the applied branches of psychology, and possess skills and techniques that can be used in order to measure, explore and develop individuals, groups or organizations through behavior measurement or other experiments. It is also aimed to provide theoretical and practical knowledge and a true sense vocation that supports further learning in any psychology MA.

Our competencies appear in the following subjects:

• Research Field Practice in Social Psychology in topics as Online shopping and buying, Consumers’ attitude and preferences, Leadership psychology, Organisational changes etc.
• Introduction to Bordering Sciences in the topic of Economics and Consumption
• Psychological Skill Training in Time management, Communication skills, Jungian based personality theory etc.
• Observation and Field Research, Interview, Focus Group and Content Analysis
• Introduction to Work and Organisational Psychology

Psychology MA Programme

The aim of the qualification is to train psychologist professionals who master the theories and methods of the science of psychology at an advanced level, who are proficient in the various fields of psychology, who possess the skills and techniques of the psychologist profession and are able to apply these to help individuals, groups or organizations develop and improve. Further aims are to present recent theoretical and practical material, to establish professional skills and commitment for the profession within the field of psychology at a level that gives a solid foundation of knowledge that enables the student to practice psychology as a vocation independently at a master level, to participate in postgraduate courses and to attend further training in doctoral schools.

Doctoral Programme: Socialization and Social Processes Programme

The aim of the program is to prepare the students for doing creative research, enabling them to study research areas related to the relationship between the individual and society and fields related to the psychological components and factors in social processes.

By including the perspectives of related branches of social science, this doctoral school aims at conveying the phenomena and rules of socialization, namely, the development, integration and role-taking of the individual in society, in an integrated way. Thus, the range of preparation for scientific work extends beyond social psychology, to the significant areas of educational psychology and cross-cultural psychology as well, while also discusses some aspects of decision making in economy and organisations and those of political psychology. Society, culture, and economy all depend upon and shape natural and built environments – as systematically demonstrated by studies in environmental psychology.

The program creates a frame and prepares for the scientific study and application of historical, political, environmental, and organizational psychology as well (the latter aiming at the non-profit sphere, like school organizations).
